In the heart of the Girona Pyrenees and with roots in Garrotxa, we find Camprodon, a land rich in history, tradition, and versatility. Its fauna, landscapes, gastronomy, and nature make it a vibrant municipality 365 days a year!
Camprodon is located in the Ripollès comarca, within the province of Girona and at the center of the Girona Pyrenees. Sant Pau de Segúries, Molló, Sant Joan de les Abadesses, la Vall de Bianya, and Montagut are some of the neighboring municipalities.
Hearing the sound of water flowing from its springs, breathing the fresh mountain air, enjoying the Romanesque style preserved in its architectural works, and smelling the essence of nature are what allow you to be carried away by everything that emanates from the place.
In addition to the constantly active urban core, culture and tourism are two of the main pillars of Camprodon, one of the landmarks of Catalan rural tourism, not only due to its origins but also for the range of sports activities it offers, such as hiking, cycling, skiing, horseback riding, and mountain activities.
The town of Camprodon is the main hub and is complemented by the urban nuclei of Beget, considered one of the most charming villages in the Catalan Pyrenees, Rocabruna, and the Colonia Estabanell, among others. It also includes the neighborhoods of Cavallera, the manor houses of Mariner, Sitjar, and Resclusanys, the neighborhood of Freixenet, and the Font Rubí urbanization. The Ter River and its tributary, the Ritort, converge and flow through the municipality.

VAL D'ARAN
