The Transpyr Coast to Coast is for you if you train regularly and achieve proper physical and mental preparation.

Participants must be able to maintain an average speed of no less than 10 km/hour in each stage.

Booking accommodation is the participant’s responsibility, but we make it very easy for you.

You can book it on your own at each stage location, travel by camper van, or choose the HOTEL PACK offered by VALUA TRAVEL with various options.

Accommodation is not included in the registration.

The organization will provide you with a bag during registration to store all your belongings.

This Transpyr Bag will be transported each day to your accommodation (as long as it is within the urban area of the stage location).

If you prefer, we can send the bag to your home before registration so you can organize yourself better!

The bag must not weigh more than 20 kg.

Breakfast is the participant’s responsibility, although it is included in the hotel packages.

During the route, the organization provides solid and liquid refreshments. One of these refreshment points serves as a lunch, consisting of rice or pasta. At the end of the route, there is a light refreshment.

The registration also includes a carbohydrate-based meal in the evening before each stage.

It is recommended to bring some type of energy supplement and to start the stage with at least one liter of drink.

If you wish to return home from Irun:

Once the Transpyr Coast to Coast is finished, a SHUTTLE BUS is available to take you back (departing the morning after arrival in Irun).

If you are transporting your bike in a bike box, we can store it securely.

You may leave your vehicle in a (non-guarded) parking area in Roses.

A SHUTTLE BUS to Barcelona is available after the Final Stage in Irun.

We can transport luggage you don’t need and your bike box to the final stage.

No. The Mandatory Sports Insurance is included in the participant pack. However, each participant is free to purchase and use additional insurance if they wish.

A medical assistance service is present throughout the route. Its mission is to attend to injured or hurt participants DURING EACH STAGE. Once the stage is over, participants needing medical attention must rely on public or private medical services in the municipality.

No, the accreditation and briefing take place on the evening before the start.

Participation is reserved for those over 18 years of age.

It is not necessary to have a cycling license.

The mandatory insurance is already included in the participant pack. If you feel it is necessary, you can purchase additional insurance on your own to extend coverage.

Once you’ve transferred your belongings to the Transpyr Bag we’ll provide during registration, you have the following options:

•Leave your suitcase with family members if they’re accompanying you.

•Leave it in your car if you’ve arrived by car.

•Leave it with us, and we’ll transport it to the end of the event. In this case, the suitcase will be at the start or end point until the last day of the event, when we’ll take it to Roses for you to have it on arrival day. If, for any reason, you need to leave the event halfway, you’ll need to retrieve your suitcase yourself from wherever it is located.

Transporting the bike case to the Transpyr Coast to Coast destination is an optional service available for purchase.

You can also arrange to have the Transpyr Bag shipped to your home before the race.

Transpyr Bag: 75 X 35 X 35 cm (approximately). It must not exceed 20 kg, should be securely closed, and must not have any items hanging outside.

A participant in the Transpyr Coast to Coast will be considered a “Finisher” if they have completed the route planned by the organization within the set maximum time limits. The GPS track may serve as evidence in case of any doubts.

Following a route by GPS is quite simple. However, you should ensure that the chosen device is suitable for cycling (can be mounted on the handlebar and easily viewed), has enough memory to record a route of over 100 km with logs every 50 meters, and has a battery life of more than 12 hours (and bring spare batteries or power packs).

In the Transpyr Coast to Coast, avoiding any mechanical setbacks is essential. Participants can book a mechanical service in advance to ensure their bike is fine-tuned at the end of each stage.

During the stages, it is not possible for us to assist participants, and the organization will not provide any direct support in this regard.

However, the organization guarantees bike cleaning stations at the end of each stage, with either hoses or pressure washers, as well as a small self-service workshop area.

Your friends and family can attend the various events: start and finish lines, briefing, pasta party… For this, we’ve created the Companion Pack.

This pack is designed for them to cheer you on and share in the Transpyr Coast to Coast adventure to the fullest. It includes a companion accreditation, a tourist guide for discovering the wonders of the Pyrenees, tickets for the Pasta Party, reserved parking (at some stage points), and other accessories.

If your companions are only joining for one day, you have the option to purchase a Pasta Party ticket separately.

The Companion Pack can be purchased through your private area or at the race office (RACE OFFICE).
