Key Points

Everything you need to know to face the test

1. Technical data and difficulty

The Deporvillage Transpyr Gran Raid MTB consists of 7 stages, covering approximately 750 km with nearly 18,000 m of accumulated elevation gain, averaging 105 km per day and around 2,500 m of elevation gain.

It is reserved for individuals with high physical and mental preparation. Participants must be capable of maintaining an average speed of no less than 10 km/h for each stage.
Each participant must provide the medical certificate issued by the organization.
For safety reasons, individual cyclists must be equipped with a geolocation device provided by the organization.

2. Tracking the route

The course is tracked using GPS. Only at potentially dangerous points may support signs be placed. Participants must comply with traffic regulations at all times, as the route is open to traffic.

Participants must respect any specific regulations of the areas and locations visited, as well as give priority to pedestrians, other cyclists, or vehicles. The participant is responsible for complying with these rules before any authority, and failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their registration.

3. Food

During the route, the organization provides both solid and liquid aid stations. One of the aid stations offers a meal consisting of rice or pasta.

At the end of the stage, there is another light aid station. The registration also includes a carbohydrate-based meal the evening before each stage, known as the Pasta Party.

It is recommended to carry some form of energy supplement and to start each stage with at least one liter of drink.

4. Insurance and medical assistance

A medical assistance service is present throughout the Transpyr Coast to Coast. Its mission is to attend to injured participants DURING THE COURSE OF EACH STAGE. Once the stage is completed, participants who require medical attention must seek care from public or private medical services in the municipality.

The mandatory sports insurance is included in the participant package. Each participant is free to purchase and use additional complementary insurance.

5. Personal luggage

The organization provides a bag during registration for you to store all your belongings. This Transpyr Bag is transported daily to your accommodation (as long as it is within the urban area of the stage town).

We can send the bag to your home before registration to help you organize better by using the **Bag to Home** service, available from the Participant Area.

The bag must not weigh more than 20 kg.

6. Accommodation

Accommodation reservations are the participant’s responsibility: you can book it on your own at each stage point, travel by motorhome, or opt for the hotel package offered by VALUA TRAVEL with different options.

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee.
