Do you have any more questions?

Thanks to the E-Bike, you can take on the Transpyr Coast to Coast, one of the most demanding cycling challenges. Although the E-Bike makes it easier, it’s important to train regularly and have good bike handling skills.

E-Bikes participate in the Deporvillage Transpyr Gran Raid MTB, which consists of 7 stages covering about 750 km and nearly 18,000 m of elevation gain, averaging 105 km per day and around 2,500 m of elevation gain.

Some sections are adapted to facilitate the passage of participants in the E-Bike category.

Electric bikes participating in the E-Transpyr C2C must meet the following requirements:

Provide electric assistance only when pedaling. It is not permitted to install mechanisms that allow the motor to function without the cyclist’s pedaling movement.

Maximum assisted speed: 25 km/h. Beyond this speed, the electric assistance must disconnect. The walk-assist button is allowed. It is not permitted to install mechanisms that override the motor disconnection at 25 km/h.

Maximum motor power: 250W.

Participants in the E-Transpyr C2C may be required to undergo technical inspections before the start and upon arrival. Surprise checks may also be carried out during the route.

A participant will be considered a “Finisher” of the Deporvillage Transpyr Gran Raid MTB if they have completed the route planned by the organization within the maximum time limits set for each stage. The GPS track may serve as proof in case of any doubts.

Following a route via GPS is quite simple. However, you must ensure that the chosen device is suitable for MTB use (it can be mounted on the handlebars and easily viewed), has enough memory to record a route of over 100 km with logs every 50 meters, and has a battery life of more than 12 hours (and bring spare batteries or replacement power sources).

In the DEPORVILLAGE E-TRANSPYR, it is essential to avoid any mechanical issues. Participants can book in advance a mechanical service for tune-ups at the end of each stage.

During the stages, it is not possible for us to assist participants, and the organization will not provide any services in this regard.

The organization guarantees the availability of bike cleaning stations at the end of each stage, either with hoses or pressure washers, as well as a small self-service workshop area.

Of course!

Your friends and family can attend the different events: the start and finish, briefing, pasta party… For this purpose, we have created the Companion Pack.

This pack is designed so that they can come and cheer you on and share the DEPORVILLAGE E-TRANSPYR adventure to the fullest. The pack includes companion accreditation, a tourist dossier to help them discover the wonders of the Pyrenees, tickets for the Pasta Party, parking in reserved areas (at some stage points), and other accessories.

If your companions are only coming for one day, you have the option to buy a ticket for the pasta party.

The Companion Pack can be purchased through your private area or at the race office (RACE OFFICE).

DEPORVILLAGE TRANSPYR GRAN RAID MTB takes place in June to ensure the maximum daylight and favorable weather conditions. However, participants should consider the weather differences between the Cantabrian and Mediterranean sides and the altitude reached at certain points of the route (with a maximum of around 2000 meters), as rapid weather changes are possible in mountainous environments.
